Dear colleagues,
I recently announced the launch of the University of Pretoria’s new Digital Transformation Hub website as well as introduced the Idea Management System — our platform for reimagining how we work, teach, research and serve. Now, it’s your turn to lead the charge.
The Idea Management System is gaining momentum — and this is your moment to add your voice to the transformation journey. We’re turning up the volume and inviting every member of our university community to step in, speak up and share ideas that can drive real change.
Whether it’s a clever workaround, a process improvement, or a big-picture innovation, your voice matters.
Quick Guide: How to submit an idea:
We’ve put together a short video to help you understand why the IMS exists, how it works, and the kind of impact your ideas can have on the University’s future. (Watch it here)
What happens next?
Every idea logged will be reviewed and tracked — no black holes, no red tape. This is about building a smarter, faster, more connected university — together. So, take a moment. Think boldly. And start where you are.
Your ideas, our future; let’s build tomorrow together!
In collaboration with TuksNovation, the Centre for the Future of Work and the Strategic Programme Office.
